Notice of Evening Public Comment Hearings
On March 2, 2021, the Elkton Gas Company filed an application for approval of a new gas system strategic infrastructure development and enhancement (“STRIDE”) plan and accompanying cost recovery mechanism. The Maryland Public Service Commission (the “Commission”) has initiated the above-titled proceeding to consider approval of the company’s proposal.
A SERIES OF PUBLIC COMMENT HEARINGS in this proceeding will be held before the Public Service Commission of Maryland, on Tuesday, May 4th, 2021, beginning at 7:00 pm and Thursday, May 6th, 2021 beginning at 7:00pm. The hearing will be conducted virtually and will be live streamed on the Public Utility Law Judge’s YouTube Channel. (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCYK5mu0UMAUOqSQowRq2TIQ)
The purpose of the public comment hearings is to receive comments from the public on the application.
Any persons seeking to speak at this hearing should send an email to email@example.com on or before 12:00pm on Monday, May 3rd, 2021 for the May 4th hearing and on or before 12:00pm on Wednesday, May 5th, 2021 for the May 6th hearing. Written comments on this matter may be submitted electronically or by first-class mail, on or before June 9th, 2021. Comments submitted electronically must be submitted through the Commission’s public Comment Dropbox, accessed through the Commission Website (www.psc.state.md.us).
